This is a long- term Thailand visa. Its classification is “PE” or a “Privileged Entry Visa.” Residency status is for a designated period of time (5, 10 or 20 years) in return for a fee starting at 600,000 baht for 5 years’ visa. Once your visa has expired, you can decide renew for an additional 5 to 20 years.
What makes the Thailand Elite Card unique is that it comes in different configurations with various different benefits and durations on top of the base residency. There are 7 investment programs available with the Thailand Elite membership.
So, Step 1, make sure you have all the details and facts to make decisions – what is the most affordable, with or without family, for how long a residency period, at what cost. If you need more information, go to https://harveylawcorporation.com/thailand-elite-visa/
Step 2 decide what level interests you. There are a number, for different periods of time (5, 10 or 20 years), with different privileges, with or without dependent family and at different costs.
Step 3 decide the period. You can choose 3 types of membership duration: 5, 10 or 20 years. There is also an “upgrade option”: start with the 5 years’ visa at 600,000 THB and get 15 more years by simply paying an extra 400,000 THB.
Step 4 consider the privileges on offer for you. The Thailand Elite Card benefits or privileges include:
Not all benefits apply to all versions of the Thailand Elite Card.
Then in Step 5, consider dependent family. Two of the six current Thailand Elite Visa programs do not cover dependents, the others all do, with or without additional fees. These programs such as Thailand Elite Family Premium, Thailand Elite Family Extension, Thailand Elite Family Alternative, Thailand Elite Superiority Extension, and Thailand Elite Privilege Access are eligible to include family members such as legally married (or civil union) spouses, children (no age limit) and grand-parents.
Step 6 having determined all the above it is straightforward to pick the best package for you. The price of the Thailand Elite Visa ranges from THB 600,000 (approximately USD 18,200 at time of writing) to THB 2,140,000 (approximately USD 65,000) for the 20-year Ultimate Privilege Grand Package.
Step 7 is to assemble your paperwork and submit it. You will need to scan the first page of your passport and all pages with Thai visas or stamps in your passport; one recent photo; a completed application form; and, for any dependents, a proof of relationship, e.g. birth or marriage certificate. These are the documents required for processing the Thailand Elite visa application.
The final step is to wait about 45 days for approval. You then make the payment only once you are approved by Thailand Elite. You can collect the visa in three ways: at the Bangkok Immigration Department; at a Thai consulate overseas; or at Immigration on your next arrival in Thailand.
